I am not new to this venture. I have Blogged for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to make a blog that goes viral in a sense, to make some amazing friends through it.
In 2023 I have decided to jump back into it. I will ramble on about things that are currently happening in my life as I work on finding who I am as a person not a mother, not a wife, a daughter, sister... But who am I?
Its something I have really struggled with in the year 2022. I feel like I have lost who I am. I used to be the girl who was out with friends dancing and singing. Now I work, take care of kids, husband, pets, and a house. Go to bed and repeat. I need to figure out what is going to spark my joy again.
One thing that happened during covid was some serious weight gain. I used to love working out and kept myself very active but I am always tired and running here, there, and everywhere.
New Years always brings on resolutions. New year new me. Well its same me just improved.
My goals this year so far are:
1. To get my body back
Step one is to do a cleanse. I havent done a cleanse in probably 5 years. A good cleanse is a great way to kickstart healthy habits. I will share my cleanse and process with it when I do it.
Step two is once the cleanse is keeping the eating "Clean"
Step Three I have an apple watch and my goal will to be making sure I close my three rings every day.
Currently my "goals" on it are
610 calories (active energy burned my moving)
30 minutes exercise
12 hours of standing (basically making sure you have 1 minutes of movement- works for when you gave an office job reminding you to get up and take a lap around the building.)
After a while you will get asked if you want to up your minimum when you have been doing good. I was doing good when I first got it and def fell off. I think I may drop my calories to 530 which has been my average lately.
The watch also gives you monthly goals and I have been making sure to get those since February 2022 so I am pretty pleased about that!
Step four is to add in working out. 30 minutes whether a walk, just dance (Yup cause its fun and I love it), or a workout video.
2. Make Deans list
I started college in September 2022. I ended my first semester with all b's but only took 9 credits. Spring I am taking 13 and fully intend to make Deans list.
3. My Craft business:
I am doing a craft fair and I am so excited about it so I have to prep a bunch of things and create QR codes and such.
Those are the main ones I have for now. I will grow the list as I navigate the year.
